Privacy Policy
How Cleaning Actually collects, uses, and protects personal data when you book a clean, use the admin, or try the demo.
Effective date: 15 September 2026
1. Who we are
The data controller for the Cleaning Actually platform is Cleaning Actually Ltd (1 Example Street, Athens, Attica, 10557, Greece).
Contact for privacy requests: nataliakireewa@gmail.com or +353 85 270 96 05.
If you book through a cleaning company’s own subdomain on our platform, that company may also process your booking details as an independent controller for delivering the clean. We share what is needed to fulfil your request with the assigned company.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone)
- Property / site details (address, access notes, property size, service preferences)
- Booking and scheduling information (dates, status, quotes, notes)
- Account details for staff (login email, role, company workspace)
- Technical data needed to run the site (language preference, session/authentication cookies, basic device/browser data sent with requests)
- Optional marketing preferences if you opt in on the booking form
- First-party product analytics for the public demo (which admin screens are opened during a demo session) — no advertising cookies
3. Why we use your data
- To provide quotes, schedule and deliver cleaning services (contract / steps prior to contract)
- To operate company admin tools for authorised staff (legitimate interests and contract)
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests)
- To remember your language and essential site settings (legitimate interests / consent where required)
- To send marketing only if you opt in (consent — you can withdraw anytime)
- To improve the product using aggregated or demographically non-identifying insights from demo exploration (legitimate interests)
5. Retention
Booking and customer records are kept as long as needed to deliver the service, handle disputes, and meet tax/accounting obligations. Staff accounts last while the company subscription/workspace is active. Demo analytics events are retained for a limited operational period for platform oversight. You can ask us to delete or restrict data where the law allows.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
8. Updates
We may update this policy when the product or law changes. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you acknowledge the revised notice.
